When the emotions have subsided it’s time to start reminiscing! We recently had the pleasure of organizing once again a webinar for you – Hubert Day 2021. It has become a Media Press tradition to celebrate the name day of our unique solution – the Hubert System. This year we focused on VoD technology, dividing the webinar into 3 parts dedicated to the industry – part 1 for operators, part 2 for broadcasters and part 3 for publishers.
Each part was to show how Hubert could expand its product offering by introducing VoD catalogues. In order to do that, we presented real case studies of our customers, so that the presentation was not just promises, but a start to the practical part.
The first part “Merge VoD with linear television to unleash customers’ experience” was dedicated to operators hosted by Nathalie Cagossi, Head of Business Development at Plurimedia SAS (Media Press Group). After a thorough introduction and answering inquisitive questions, it was time for a case study of our client SFR presented by Beata Sroka, Head of Pictures Editorial Team.
The second part “A comprehensive platform for the distribution of VoD and linear content” was for broadcasters led by Uwe Hoeft, Digital Solutions – Technical Sales Manager at PPS GmbH (Media Press Group). He presented solutions that companies could use on the example of our partner A+E Networks Germany.
The third part was dedicated to publishers, “From a print magazine to a digital media world. Publishers guideline” led by Anna Ottlik, Head of Editorial at PPS GmbH (Media Press Group) in cooperation with our special guest Mischa Christen, Co-Editor of STREAMING.ch by Ringier Axel Springer. Both of them showed how easy it is to bring traditional magazine solutions into the digital world.
We can say without any doubt that we have gathered the creme de la creme of the media industry. The audience included the representatives of the largest media companies from such countries as the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, France and Poland. What’s more 70% of them rated the event as “Excellent”!
The event initiated many new collaborations and expanded existing partnerships.
Overall, we are delighted to see such great interest in our products, and we are open to suggestions of topics for future webinars and in-person events.
